Our mission is to improve communication between the Sloatsburg Chamber, its members, the Village, and wider community, as well as encourage cultural and civic events, activities, and provide programs and services that lead to improvements in the vitality and prosperity of Sloatsburg and the surrounding community.

Aidan Hand is a Sloatsburg resident and Branch Manager for KeyBank.  He is an avid networker, enjoys connecting and working with members of the communities where he lives and works.  He has a passion for financial literacy and blends his mission of delivering financial wellness to his clients along with a full-range of banking solutions for both consumers and business owners.  Aidan and his wife are also Financial Coaches and offer this service free of charge.  Learn more about Aidan on his LinkedIn page.

Simon Davis

Vice President

Simon Davis is co-owner of Sloatsburg Nursery and Elemental Grounds in Sloatsburg. Simon is the newest member of our board and has been a member of the Sloatsburg Chamber of Commerce for several years. We are excited to have Simon join our team and look forward to the fresh ideas he is bringing to the table in our mission to further develop our village's economy which in turn contributes to the well being of our community.

Susie McEnery McDonagh

Treasurer

Susie McEnery McDonagh is a resident of Sloatsburg & the founder of Rococo's Salon for nearly 30 yrs. As a business owner, McDonagh has participated in changes to the village and has been an important leader as well as  early participant in investing in the village's business corridor and revitalization effort. As a leader in the Sloatsburg Chamber, Susie has helped rally many Village Center business owners to the cause of community service. Her talent for stage setting & event management has helped the Chamber develop signature events.

Kathy Goldman

Secretary

Kathy Goldman is a 25 yr. resident of Sloatsburg. She & her husband raised four children in the Suffern Central School District.

Her focus is on local history, hiking / the environment,

and wellbeing. She is a founding  Board Member of Friends of Harmony Hall-Jacob Sloat House, has done volunteer work with Sloatsburg Historical Society, Ramapo River Committee, Sloatsburg Revitalization Committee, Rockland County AmeriCorps & the NY/NJ Trail Conference. Kathy established Ol’ Darlin’ LLC  natural body care.

Barbara A. Berntsen

Director

Barbara Berntsen is owner & CEO of Sloatsburg-based interior construction firm ADW, Inc. She brings over 25 yrs. of contracting & construction experience to the Sloatsburg Chamber. Guided by her love of historic preservation and revitalization, Barbara has been involved in Village life both as a Trustee and as past President of the Board of The Friends of Harmony Hall in Sloatsburg, NY. She worked with village planners while a member of its Board of Trustees to develop the master plan that supports improvement and expansion of the downtown center, and to help to preserve the historic character of Sloatsburg.

Director

Marianna Krichevsky has been instrumental in documenting the spirit of the Sloatsburg Chamber across various social media platforms. Marianna's dynamic presentations & photo features have galvanized local businesses & the Sloatsburg community. Krichevsky owns & operates Marianna K Design Studio (interior design) & her enthusiastic participation has positioned the Chamber as an advocate for businesses and bolsters support for the community, attracting new members and a growing social media following.

Gillian Ballard

Director

Gillian Ballard is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County & the 2020 recipient of the NYS Assembly, Women of Distinction Award. In addition to directing BBBS for 24 yrs, Gillian has also formed a new 501c, Rockland Youth Empowerment Center, which will operate the Court Ordered Visitation Program serving victims of domestic violence. Gillian’s wealth of experience & connections will assist our Chamber in  fostering more community networking events in the coming year.
