In Partnership with the Sloatsburg & Suffern Chambers and Rockland County Tourism
The Sloatsburg Chamber is exited to represent the Village of Sloatsburg and partner with the Suffern Chamber of Commerce and Rockland County Tourism on the Explore Harriman trail town initiative, which promotes tourism into Rockland County.
Rockland County parks are beacons attracting visitors from across the Hudson Valley, New York City and beyond. The western Rockland communities of the Villages of Suffern and Sloatsburg are natural gateways to both county and state parks, beginning with Harriman State Park, New York’s second largest state park and one of its crown jewels.
A collaborative effort, Explore Harriman promotes the powerful message that western Rockland County is a parks and recreation destination open for business.
As you hike or bike or walk the many trails Sloatsburg’s surrounding parks provide, remember that the Ramapo Mountains and Ramapo River are amazing resources that are vital assets of Rockland County.
